Abstract

The present study examines the perfect human being in the mystical cosmology of Raz-i Shirazi. According to him, the establishment of the world and its survival depends on the existence of the perfect human being, which refers to the holy presence of Muhammad and Ali and their pure descendants. By examining his works, we find that the perfect human being has two relationships with the world. In the first relationship, he is a part of the world or the sixth order; this relationship is a vertical relationship; in a general division, he has considered five orders for divine manifestations, which are known as the Five Presences. In addition to mentioning the Five Presences, he has also described the worlds that are the result of the manifestation of each of the Presences. On this basis, a world emerges from the manifestation of each Presence, and in this way, different worlds (the worlds of divinity, power, sovereignty, dominion and the perfect human being) emerge. In his opinion, the world of human nature, which includes the four divine worlds, as well as those worlds are included in the world of the human nature structure. In another sense, he is the intermediary of creation or creation of the world; and in a sense, he is both the cause and the reason for the creation of the world. Based on Shiite verses and hadiths and relying on the concept of divine guardianship, he considers the perfect human being to be the place of God's will, the intermediary of divine grace... Using library resources, the position of the perfect human being in the system of existence is explained in a descriptive-analytical manner.
