Abstract

Human beings know God in two different ways. One is conceptual knowledge and the other is Intuitive knowledge. In conceptual knowledge, humanity gains indirect knowledge of God through forms and concepts; but in Intuitive knowledge, he/she is connected to the objective existence of God; in the latter case, there is no intermediary standing between him/her and God. In this type of knowledge, God appears and manifests in him/her to the extent of humanity's existential capacity. Although Intuitive knowledge is innately and potentially deposited in human beings ipseity whereas weak degrees of it are available to some people, it is very burdensome to actualize and develop the more intense and complete stages is very difficult and exhausting: the higher it goes, the harder it becomes to achieve. The Intuitive knowledge of God has several levels, and at the higher levels, human beings can attain nearness to God and even annihilation in God. The rarity of such a status and knowledge have caused doubts about the possibility of its occurrence. Therefore, the most important question one can raise about the intuitive knowledge of God is how can one prove and analyze the possibility and quality of the occurrence of such a position and knowledge using philosophical method and reasoning? In the following article, with the help of a descriptive analytical method and some philosophical principles of transcendental philosophy, such as "the absolute existential dependence of the effect on the cause," inspired by verses and narrations, we will prove and analyze the process of the occurrence of intuitive knowledge of God.
