Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the ontological category of "perception" while proving the absolutism of perception and the role of this category in explaining the issues and challenges related to "near-death experiences". Absence of perception in the space of Islamic philosophy can be explained and proved by means of things such as "non-divisibility", "non-temporality" and "non-locality" of perception. By proving the "absence of perception", it is possible to provide a reasonable explanation of "near-death experiences" and the common core of these experiences, and to solve the challenges and issues related to "near-death experiences" such as "the challenge of time and space", "the challenge of unusual experiences". ", "Challenge of Realization" and "Challenge of relationship between soul and body". By providing a reasonable explanation of near-death experiences and solving the challenges and issues related to it, "near-death experiences" can be considered as valid evidence and confirmation of the existence of the "immaterial dimension of human existence"; However, it should not be overlooked that the validity of these experiences compared to "real death" and "death without return" is highly controversial due to issues such as "personality of the experience" and "the dependence of the experiences on the person's fantasy world".
